Expired License

  • IF YOUR LICENSE HAS EXPIRED, DO NOT CARRY CONCEALED! If the license has expired, it is not a valid license. It is a criminal offense to carry a concealed weapon without a valid license. A license holder must be able to produce a valid concealed weapon license upon demand at all times while carrying concealed.
  • Licenses that expire PRIOR to December 31, 2011, may be renewed only if the satisfactorily completed application form is submitted to the law enforcement agency within 90 days of the expiration date.
  • Licenses that expire on or after January 1, 2012, CANNOT be renewed after the license expiration date. You will need to start the Application process as a NEW APPLICANT and complete all required testing.
  • Licenses issued prior to July 1, 2011, are valid for three years. Licenses issued on or after July 1, 2011, are valid for five years.
